AN NHS Lothian press officer has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Victoria Mundell, 22, has been named as a finalist for Young Communicator of the Year in the Institute of Internal Communication’s (IoIC) Scotland Awards.
Says a spokesperson: “Victoria, who works as a communications officer for NHS Lothian’s University Hospitals Division (UHD), is the only entrant who was shortlisted in the category.”
The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 4 March 2011 at The George Hotel in Edinburgh, and will be hosted by BBC Scotland newsreader Catriona Shearer.
Victoria, who lives in Edinburgh, joined NHS Lothian in May last year after working as trainee account executive for Weber Shandwick.

Victoria is also involved in the production of Health link, NHS Lothian’s patient newspaper, which is shortlisted in the Best Stakeholder Newspaper category.
Victoria graduated in 2009 with a BA in Communication, Advertising and Public Relations from Napier University.
