RUNNERS of all fitness levels and abilities will don their office uniforms or fantasy work clothes (“what you want to be when you grow up”); from doctors and nurses; astronauts and jockeys to vicars, firemen and deep sea divers, for a bit of light running, jogging or walking on a route that will take them from West Princes Street Gardens, around Castle ‘Rock’ and back to the gardens, to shake off the working week.
The latest ‘team building works outing’ will be followed a grand office party in the Rat Race Adventure Village, West Princes Street Gardens.

This year, the Edinburgh Rat Race, the high adrenaline multi-disciplined team adventure sports challenge, will be kicked off in outlandish style with the inaugural Edinburgh Rat Run – The after work Friday night ‘Fun-Run-In-Your-Work-Clothes!’.
The Rat Run is simple: Leave work; keep your work clothes on (or borrow someone else’s! – Just as long as you evoke the working vibe); Run 4k around central Edinburgh with your Rat Run ‘colleagues’ and then join the Friday evening Office Party.
A fantastic way to end the week and if you are struggling to wrestle yourself away from your desk, chain yourself to it and bring it along! It’s short but sharp – 4k distance and a solid commute around the block.
