GLASGOW-based digital marketing agency, Alienation Digital, is to redesign and revamp the entire digital platform for The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, one of the oldest surgical corporations in the world.
The contract for web design and Internet marketing was won following a competitive tender process which placed Alienation in direct competition with some of the leading web design agencies in the UK.
New digital platforms will further improve accessibility to information for both its surgical community and allied professionals as well as for the community at large.
The Royal College of Surgeons has a rich history. It celebrated a 500-year anniversary in 2005, and continues to be a cutting edge, innovative organisation at the forefront of an ever-evolving industry.
The project will comprise web design, search engine optimisation and digital marketing for a range of websites as well as an intranet developed on SharePoint.
The new public facing websites will be developed using the open source Umbraco CMS with a view to enabling future development in-house at the College.
