THE specialist wire rope manufacturer, Bridon International Ltd, has confirmed a partnership deal with Cosalt International, suppliers of safety equipment and inspection services.
This will enhance Bridon’s UK land and marine distribution reach, becoming Cosalt’s preferred UK wire rope supplier.
The agreement is of considerable importance to Bridon as it will serve to strengthen its market position and expand the company’s service offering into the safety equipment and inspection services sector.
This enables Bridon to compliment and add value to Cosalt’s already specialised product range, whilst sharing expert knowledge, contacts and experience.
It will also serve to be mutually beneficial for Cosalt, allowing the company to expand its offering in the high-tech marine and industrial wire rope markets, particularly within the specialist crane and hoist application arena.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bridon’s specialist steel ropes will be Cosalt’s product of choice for the operational use of container cranes, tower cranes, mobile cranes, dockside cranes, and piling and dredging applications. This will include Bridon’s Endurance DYFORM® 34LR, Endurance DYFORM® 8PI, Endurance DYFORM® 6 and Endurance 50DB wire rope products.
