HIGHLANDS and Islands Enterprise (HIE) is looking for applicants to take part in a first-class intensive week’s training for ambitious entrepreneurs.
The inspirational MIT Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) course is designed to transform ambition levels, offer practical skills and boost participants’ confidence in their ability to make things happen for their own businesses.
Attending the course onsite at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management is also the perfect way to build a network of significant contacts on the global business stage be they mentors, collaborators, suppliers or customers.
HIE is offering six sponsored places to Highlands and Islands businesses on the next EDP course, to be held in Boston, Massachusetts from 24-29 January 2010, meaning that businesses only have to find 30 per cent of the actual cost of participation.
Anyone ambitious for their business, and who would like to win a sponsored HIE place on the world renowned course, should visit www.hie.co.uk/entrepreneurship for more details.
To hear feedback from some of last year’s Highlands and Islands participants on how the EDP transformed their businesses and why they would recommend applying for EDP 2010, watch the podcast on the new MIT Zone of the HIE LearningWorks website at www.learning-works.co.uk/mit-zone
