HUNDREDS of school pupils across the Highlands and Islands are set to gain an insight into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths thanks to the extension of a pioneering scheme.
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has contracted a specialist officer to stimulate pupil interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Ruth Falconer from Wick will work with primary schools and with new STEM Ambassadors in Shetland, Orkney, Moray and Argyll & Bute.
