SOUTH Ayrshire Council has committed to supporting the efforts of the Diageo workforce and the local community in East Ayrshire in presenting a case to retain the presence of the Johnnie Walker brand in Kilmarnock.
An emergency motion was brought before the Council by Councilor Hugh Hunter, the leader of the Council and was unanimously approved.
