SOCIAL enterprise firm, Glencraft, announced today the appointment of Ann Bailey to the newly-developed role of business development manager.
The new role was created following Glencraft’s re-branding programme early last month to re-position itself as a modern business with quality, value-for-money products.

In her new role, Ann will be responsible for developing new contract sales in a number of B2B markets, including offshore, hotel and leisure, healthcare and local government.
She will also support and build on the new business model as well as set growth targets for Glencraft’s existing retails division in Tullos.
“My first ever sales job many years ago was selling beds,” said Ann. “So I have come full-circle and am delighted to take on this new role which will allow me utilise the skills I have developed over the years to support and develop the future of this growing business.”
Glencraft interim general manager, Anthony Pratt, said: “The role of business development manager was introduced in a bid to strongly pursue market driven growth opportunities as Glencraft continues to focus on its longer term objective of becoming profitable and self-sustaining in three years time.
“We are confident that, with Ann’s 20 years of sales and marketing skills, she will establish long-term sustainable relationships, both with our customers and suppliers, and develop newer business strategies. We wish her all success in her new role.”
