SUCCESS could boil down to a case of midnight patrols combined with grandparents’ growing secrets, as school children compete to grow a champion runner bean.
The vegetable growing competition, launched today [21 April 2009] by Waitrose and John Lewis, invites Edinburgh primaries to grow a champion runner bean – provided the giant Were Rabbit doesn’t get them first – and win an interactive white board for their school.
