A CAITHNESS company which has supplied stone to several prestigious building projects around the world has just completed a major investment in new buildings and specialist machinery at its Spittal base in Caithness.
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has provided assistance of £143,300
towards the capital costs which is set to make a significant contribution to the local economy by boosting the current 25-strong workforce at CSI by a further 11 full-time employees.
The £573,000 investment project will allow Caithness Stone Industries Ltd
(CSI) to expand its growing range of value added Caithness flagstone products both nationally and in the US.
