THE first meeting of the independent committee will take place on Monday May 16 2005 at The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE). Members of the Media are cordially invited to a Question & Answer session, to take place at 10 a.m on Monday 16 May at The RSE, 22-26 George Street, Edinburgh, when the committee’s remit will be outlined.
As with the RSE’s previous independent inquiries into the impact of Foot & Mouth Disease in Scotland and the Future of the Scottish Fishing Industry, this inquiry will invite views from a wide range of individuals and organisations concerned with the implications of Scotland’s energy supply.
