FORMER ICAS marketing director, Anne Farquharson, has been appointed by Henderson Loggie, one of Scotland’s top four independent accountants and business advisors, to oversee their marketing and business development activities.
The appointment was confirmed just days after Henderson Loggie announced it was to merge with Glasgow CA firm Sinclair Wood, making it the only ‘Big Four Scottish Independent’ to have a foothold in Scotland’s four major cities.

Anne, whose career in marketing began at the Royal College of General Practitioners, promoting clinical guidelines, joined ICAS in 2000 as Marketing Assistant, working her way up to Director level before leaving to take up her newly formed position as Director of Marketing at Henderson Loggie.
Anne’s appointment is the first of its kind during the firm’s 97 years of trading.
Anne’s experience at ICAS, the fastest growing accountancy body in the UK in terms of worldwide student numbers with a student growth rate of 94%, is expected to be of significant benefit to Henderson Loggie which now employs over 200 people across Scotland’s four major cities.
Anne is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and also serves on the board of the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) and is chair of AGR’s Scottish Forum.
