A NEW centre designed to help China deal with the challenges it faces
during its economic reform and rapid growth, is being launched at
Heriot-Watt University tomorrow.
The Scottish Centre for Chinese Urban & Environmental Studies (SCCUES),
based at Heriot-Watt University’s School of the Built Environment (SBE),
will build on existing links and research partnerships between the
University and Chinese institutions, providing and fostering academic,
professional, and governmental exchanges between Scotland and China,
leading to long-term mutual benefit.
