AT the Heriot-Watt University graduation ceremony, Ms Zandra Rhodes, fashion designer, will be awarded a Doctorate of Letters in recognition
of her outstanding contribution to the fashion and design industries,
and Mr Tony Taylor, former member of Heriot-Watt University Court, will
be awarded a Doctorate of Letters in recognition of his sustained
contribution to the well-being and progress of the Faculty and School of
Textiles and to public life in the Borders.
A photo opportunity is available following the graduation ceremony and
procession, at aprox.12 noon Monday 9 July ’07 at Old Gala House. Please
meet on the front lawn (if wet, inside Old Gala House, first room on
left) and ask for Caroline Dempster, press officer.
