A CHANCE to harness creativity and develop it into screen and broadcast opportunities comes to Moray on Wednesday (February 6).
Supported by Highland sand Islands Enterprise (HIE), the event will be held at the Moray Art Centre in Findhorn from 19.00 – 21.00. It is open to anyone with a viable idea and who aspires to develop it into a product that would work for radio, television or the internet.
Amanda Millen is the screen and broadcast industries development manager at HIE on secondment from the BBC is organising the event. She said: “We very much look forward to discovering and developing creative talent in Moray.
“This opportunity is not limited to those already working in the industry, but to anyone with ideas that want to take them forward. The event is ideal for those who have what it takes to generate brilliant ideas but not sure how to go about getting them made for broadcast.”
Those who attend will have the opportunity to take part in workshops, making suggestions, and pitch for a professional commission, taking their ideas to the next stage and perhaps strike up new working relationships.
Whether it’s an idea for a short film, documentary or a long running series, this event is for you.
The event is free and refreshments will be available. Those who are interested in attending, or for more information, please contact Amanda Millen on 01463 244 295 or Amanda.Millen@hient.co.uk.
