ALREADY established as one of the breakthrough acts of 2008, Suffolk-born singer/songwriter, Tom Baxter, will give a one-off exclusive in-store free performance at Beanscene West End on Wednesday 5th March at 3pm, ahead of his sell-out gig at Oran Mor, Glasgow that same evening.
Beanscene, the rapidly expanding food, coffee and music house, will stock Baxter’s critically acclaimed new album Skybound, from Monday 3rd March when, as its hot album of the month, it will receive heavy in-store and online rotation.
Gordon Richardson, Beanscene founder, said: “The sound and feel of Skybound is organic and eclectic. Tom’s been compared to both Van Morrison and Marvin Gaye, and I’d urge fans of great song writing to take this one-off opportunity to catch him up close and personal for free while you still can.”
Tom Baxter will release the single Tell Her Today on March 17th. Tell Her Today follows first single Better, released at the end of last year, which gained great notoriety helped along by being featured in David Schwimmer’s number one box office film, Run Fat Boy Run.
Beanscene West End is located at 16 Cresswell Lane, Hillhead.
