SIGNATURE Pub Group has commissioned Nevis Design Consultants to develop a brand identity for The Rutland Hotel in advance of the imminent re-opening at the end of June after an extensive, multi-million pound refurbishment.
The Rutland Hotel is the biggest venture yet for the Signature Pub Group, and the landmark site in Scotland’s capital city boasts a bar, one hundred cover restaurant, late lounge club as well as the twelve bespoke, boutique-style bedrooms.
Says a spokesperson: “The incredible interior, at last, truly befits the Georgian grandeur of the exterior. While the overall theme of the interior design is undoubtedly elegance the hotel also has a distinctly modern side with an abundance of cutting edge technology throughout including a much-heralded iBar.”
Nevis was appointed by Signature Pub Group’s head of PR & Communications, Emma Miller, who said: “The brief for Nevis was to capture the juxtapositions of The Rutland Hotel and to successfully create a brand identity that reflected not only the tradition of the building but the modernity of the project.
“All of this, with a generous splash of humour and dash of cool. We are delighted with the results.”
