DAVID Forsyth has retired as financial director of Hawkhill Nursing Home at Milltimber after 23 years.
He spent a total of 25 years with the home. Colleagues and friends marked the occasion at a six-course dinner at the Marcliffe.
The home’s owner, Mrs Rona Tayler, paid tribute to his work and said that his love of golf was so great that their standing joke was that if he had to go on a course, could it be a golf course.
He hopes to spend more time golfing in retirement.
