IT’S worth taking a fresh look at The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns this Easter weekend.
As well as the new farmers’ market on Easter Sunday, Newton and Fearn, The Avenue’s new life-sized mall mascots, are sure to make Easter fun for all the family!
Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Following the tremendous success of our first ever farmers’ market last month, we’re delighted to welcome its return, together with some free family festivities, this Easter!”
The farmers’ market at The Avenue will once again feature a range of market stallholders offering a variety of produce including everything from Danish pastries, balsamic vinegars, smoked fish, oysters, langoustines, seasonal fruit and vegetables, breads, scones, meats and flavoured chilli sauces.
The Avenue’s Easter Sunday farmers’ market will take place in the car park at Marks & Spencer from 11am – 4pm and will continue on the fourth Sunday of every month.
The Avenue Shopping Centre offers shoppers an alternative to sprawling trolley-dash shopping culture with a comprehensive range of outlets offering a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
