AWARD-winning Scottish seafood restaurant, Mussel Inn, is giving all kids dining in its Glasgow and Edinburgh restaurants a free chocolate Easter egg this Easter weekend from Good Friday 22 April through to Easter Monday 25 April.
Matt Johansson, food and beverage manager at Mussel Inn, said: “Mussel Inn is always a popular destination at Easter, not just because we are very family friendly, but also because fish and seafood is closely linked to Easter.
“Easter is always a popular family get-together and to give the kids an extra-special treat this Easter – and to guarantee parents at least five minutes peace over a hectic weekend – we’re giving kids a free Easter egg with their meal.”
Diners at Mussel Inn this Easter can select from a Spring menu featuring starters of: creamy seafood chowder; fresh soup of the day; grilled queenies; fish cakes; crab salad; goats cheese and prawn tempura.
Mains include a selection of grilled mussel and queen scallop platters, chilled and grilled oysters, shellfish pasta, tiger prawns, kilo pots of mussels, king scallops, hot seafood platter and grilled sea bass fillet. In addition to seafood, Mussel Inn offers vegetarian and meat options.
Homemade desserts include chocolate crème brulee, apple and cinnamon strudel, warm sticky date pudding, ice cream and affogato – while half portions of everything on the menu are available for kids.
Located at 157 Hope Street in Glasgow and at 61-65 Rose Street in Edinburgh, Mussel Inn is renowned for its passion for its offering of delicious locally sourced fresh seafood, providing excellent value for money and a quick and friendly service.
