NEW mum, Lydia Brown, is looking forward to celebrating her first Mother’s Day with husband, Andrew and baby, Adam.
But she’s making sure other mums will be in for a special treat as well.
Lydia is marketing manager at Braehead Shopping Centre, which is giving away a £100 gift card to each of the first three mums to give birth on Mother’s Day, on Sunday, April 3.
The prizes will go to a trio of mums in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board area, which covers maternity units in Glasgow, Paisley, Alexandria, Dunbartonshire and Inverclyde.
Lydia, gave birth to nine-month-old Adam, last June, at Paisley’s Royal Alexandra Hospital Maternity Unit.
She said: “I’ve loved being a mum for the first time and I’m sure my first Mother’s Day will be really special.
“All of us at Braehead agreed that it would be good to make this Mother’s Day a bit special for some other mums as well.
“There are plenty of lovely gifts a mother would be delighted with at Braehead and with their £100 gift cards, the three mums who win our prize can treat themselves once they get home with their new babies.”
