ST John’s Shopping Centre has announced plans for popular Perth retailer, The Works, to open a store in the mall this Wednesday.
The popular Fair City shop shut its doors on Perth High Street in December with many local shoppers expressing their dismay at the time.
Colin Campbell, manager of the Perth store, commented: “We have been actively looking for new premises and my team and I are very much looking forward to settling in to our new location in St John’s Shopping Centre.
“We can’t wait to welcome back all those customers who have waited so patiently for this re-opening.”
The Works specialises in discount books, arts and crafts, stationery and other items will be welcomed by fans in the Big County.
Siobhan McConnell, St John’s Shopping Centre manager, commented: “We are delighted to have been able to accommodate this popular retailer within St John’s Shopping Centre and feel sure that they will add a new dimension to the already extensive retail offering in the centre.”
The store will be situated next to BB’s Coffee & Muffins near the Scott Street entrance to St John’s Shopping Centre.
