YOU are invited to the press launch of The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns’ first ever farmers’ market with a feast of fun activities for all the family to enjoy in the car park at Marks & Spencer from 11am – 4pm on Sunday 27 March.
The farmers’ market at The Avenue will feature a range of market stallholders offering a variety of produce including everything from Danish pastries, balsamic vinegars, smoked fish, oysters, langoustines, seasonal fruit and vegetables, breads, scones, meats and flavoured chilli sauces.
To help celebrate the launch, a range of free activities – balloon modelling, face painting, caricaturists and magicians – will be on hand to entertain visiting families.
Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue, will be available for interview on the day.
