GLASGOW’S alt pop rock contenders, Penny and The Restless, launch their debut EP, ‘Breathe’, when they support King Louis at The Captain’s Rest on Friday 1 April at 8pm.
Already creating a buzz online through Facebook, Twitter and Reverbnation (where they currently sit at number 12 in the Glasgow charts) and garnering critical plaudits aplenty from various music biz veterans, Penny and The Restless have been influenced by an intriguing blend of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Incubus, Lissie and Paolo Nutini.
The band are: Penny Lamb (vocals and guitar); Paul Ferri (lead guitar and bass); Martin Malloy (bass and guitar) and Blair Andrews (drums).
Hear for yourself what all the fuss is about at The Captain’s Rest at 185 Great Western Road, Glasgow on Friday 1 April at 8pm and check them out beforehand at www.Pennytherestless.bandzoogle.com
