AN Aberdeen-based specialist sales and marketing company is gearing up to mark its first anniversary with news that staff numbers have more than doubled in the last 12 months.
Energize Sales & Marketing, which is headed by Mark Gillanders, is located on the city’s Riverside Drive and specialises in working with SMEs to help them compete more effectively.
The business was founded in 2010 with just three staff.
That number has already grown to seven and is forecast to double again in the coming year.
The company is unique in its sphere due to the absolute focus on initiatives that will generate sales for clients by using a range of leading edge as well as more traditional tools and techniques.
Mark Gillanders said: “We specialise in helping SMEs who don’t have their own in-house marketing. Typically, our client companies don’t have a sales strategy or plan to grow sales – they want more, but don’t really know how to get there and that’s where we come in.
“The companies we work with come from a wide range of sectors and they are generally independent businesses based in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
“We are delighted to be able to report staff growth in our first year and we look forward to that trend continuing on an ongoing basis.”
