WITH Red Nose Day 2011 fast approaching, the team at St John’s Shopping Centre, Perth NOSE they are on the ball when it comes to raising cash for great causes.
This Saturday, they will launch their Red Nose Day fundraising campaign guaranteed to put a smile on your face with fundraising activities that everyone can get involved in.
Every penny raised will go to Comic Relief, to help transform lives across Africa and the UK.
The fundraising events will all take place on Red Nose Day on Friday 18th March between 10am – 4pm. This year they are hoping to raise over £1,000 for the charity through a variety of different activities in the shopping centre including:
Big Balls! St John’s Shopping Centre have teamed up with Western Alfa Romeo Perth to fill up a beautiful, shiny red MiTo with hundreds (or could that be thousands?) of play pool balls.
Guess how many balls are in the car and you could win a state of the art Alfa Romeo Stradale bicycle worth over £500. It only costs £1 to guess but you can get a head start counting the balls in the car which will be in the shopping centre from this Saturday, 12th March.
Big Raffle! Two of Scotland’s most prestigious hotels have generously donated some amazing prizes in aid of Red Nose Day 2011.
So, for just £2 per ticket, you will have an exclusive opportunity to win a luxury overnight stay at The Gleneagles Hotel & Resort including dinner at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Andrew Fairlie @ Gleneagles or an opulent spa day for four at the Apex City Quay Hotel & Yu Spa in Dundee.
Tickets will be on sale in the shopping centre on Red Nose Day only.
Big Balloons! There’s nothing like a beautiful red balloon to put a smile on your face, and for 50p that balloon could be yours. This one is especially for the little visitors to the shopping centre. Balloons will be on sale from 10am on Friday 18th March.
