LEADING provider of fully-integrated transactional retail apps and mobile solutions, NN4M, has declared the 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona a resounding success for the Scottish delegation, led by Scottish Development International.
The world renowned Mobile World Congress 2011 is arguably the most important event for those involved in innovative technologies and mobile commerce this year, with industry leaders and key influencers descending upon the Fira in Barcelona to showcase their products and display their technological and business innovations to the vast array of target potential clients and industry peers alike.
Having been invited by SDI, market leader NN4M joined the Scottish delegation to showcase their raft of fully transactional retail apps, mobile and e-commerce solutions to over 60 000 industry decision makers, rubbing shoulders with some of the industry greats during the congress.
Carolyn Burnett, CEO of NN4M declared their participation in the event a resounding success.

20 innovative technology companies operating throughout Scotland joined over 50, 000 senior leaders from across the mobile industries from 200 countries in attendance at the 2011 Mobile World Congress, which took place between 14 – 17 February 2011.
The event included a global thought leadership conference, a product exhibition featuring over 1,300 international companies, a sector specific four-day App Planet event, and the Global Mobile Awards.
Industry heavyweights from Google to Nokia, Intel and Microsoft made appearances, strengthening the importance of the industry transforming event within the mobile and wider industries.
The delegates were treated to a number of insightful speeches by some of the most highly respected industry greats including Stephen Elop, president and CEO of Nokia, Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft and Eric Schmidt, chair and CEO of Google and Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter.
Led by Scottish Development International, the 20 Scottish companies were selected to showcase their own products and service innovation, while demonstrating the global potential and exceptional calibre of Scottish companies as a whole, operating within these highly competitive industries throughout international markets.
