MORE than 200 PAs from Aberdeen will attend the first showcase dedicated to them and their work needs later month.
It has been organised by Rosemary McLennan who set up Aberdeen PA last year, a web dedicated to PAs where they can exchange information and which they can use as a one-stop data base.
Among more than 50 exhibitors at the Spring Showcase at Ardoe on February 23 are recruitment, cleaning and travel companies, PR, pampering and legal companies, photographers, office supplies and catering companies, hotels, airlines and conference centres.
In addition to local exhibitors, others are travelling from the Glasgow area, London and Norwich to attend.
Since the Aberdeen PA website was set up last September, members have found it an invaluable tool.
It is designed to give access to all sorts of information from travel offers to venues, office supplies, florists, everything needed to put on an event, even information like a company having a special offer on blue cupcakes one week and yellow ones the next week.
“The showcase is an extension of that and I’m hoping everyone will come along and have a great evening, do lots of networking and make lots of contacts,” Rosemary said.
“I’m hoping this will be the first of a series of showcases.”
