A LEADING West End accountancy firm, Fyfe Moir & Associates, is calling on local businesses to get involved in a new business forum which is due to be launched in the city next month.
Fyfe Moir & Associates is headed by Alan Moir and Graham Fyfe and employs ten staff.
Its portfolio includes clients throughout Scotland and abroad in locations such as Singapore and Australia.
The company also incorporates FMA Training and Solutions which provides one-to-one IT training and coaching for entrepreneurs, managers and directors throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
And the company has just unveiled plans to launch Business Builder Forums which aim to bring together people seeking to grow their business for ten morning meetings a year.
Commenting on the forthcoming launch, Alan Moir said: “This will be an excellent chance to benefit from the experience of others and it will provide a useful networking opportunity as well as the chance to do business.

“The format will see a presentation on a set topic followed by the core members of the group working on their goals, opportunities and threats and challenging one another to ensure that they make the most of their business and profit opportunities.
“Initial topics will include how to get paid on time, pricing, and how service can be used to have a positive impact on the balance sheet as well as customers.”
The launch of the Business Builder Forums coincides with Fyfe Moir & Associates announcing that it is to offer its clients access to AVN, an association of accountants which works improve UK owner-managed businesses using resources, tools and support to help themselves and their clients become more successful, more profitable and to enjoy what they do much, much more.
Alan added: “We are unique in our involvement with AVN in the North East of Scotland and, before we roll it out in its entirety, we ourselves are going through various AVN processes such as benchmarking against our peers through AVN’s system which allows access to member companies’ figures but not their identity.
“We hope our being a customer first will enable us to pass on first-hand knowledge of how the system works and what it can achieve.”
