AS part of its Oktoberfest celebrations, Cookie, the award-winning eatery in Glasgow’s southside, is highlighting a variety of great Scottish beers.
In addition to West’s ode to this German festival, an unfiltered lager carrying the festival’s name, Cookie will be featuring Harviestoun’s Schiehallion and Bitter & Twisted, the latter of which will be available on tap alongside West in the months ahead.
Cookie is also stocking a range of beers from the William’s Bros, including its Heather Ale and 80/, throughout Oktoberfest.
Cookie co-founder, Domenico Del Priore, said: “Why not drop in for a quick pint and choose from a variety of beers and nibbles this Oktoberfest? We’re also offering a range of pretzels from the Bavarian bakery, as well as our home made sauerkraut and sausages.”
Recently named Glasgow Newcomer of the Year 2010 for breaking the mould of local eating and drinking, Cookie is based at 72 Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields, Glasgow.
