Media release: Press call – Forth Road Bridge crossing, with Gail Porter, ahead of NYC Tartan Parade

PRESS CALL Saturday 4th March at noon Forth Road Bridge (Edinburgh side)

World Fair Trade Tartan Clan, including this year’s NYC Tartan Parade Grand Marshall, Gail Porter, joining with 30 young drummers from Pulse of the Place to drum across the Forth Road Bridge in preparation for NYC Tartan Parade in April.

The walk is a fundraiser for the young drummers who have raised £45,000 (of £55,000) -https://www.givey.com/pulseoftheplacenyc – to get themselves to NYC.

Hand Up Events organising the tartan clan trip to NYC with a lots of great support and director, Tania Pramschufer, created World Fair Trade Tartan to promote Scotland as a Fair Trade Nation and to weave Fair Trade connections around the world through World Fair Trade Organisation members.
