IN the run-up to the COP26 conference in Glasgow in November, The Scottish Sun newspaper has launched an eight-page weekly environmental pullout, titled The Earth.
The supplement will be themed each week around a particular green issue, from recycling and fast fashion to eco travel and the tech of the future.
Articles will be in line with The Scottish Sun style, with quirky and interesting features covering issues that matter to Scottish Sun readers.
Issue one of The Earth includes an interview with environmentalist, Chris Packham, on his climate concerns, how COP26 is a chance for Scotland to set an example, how you use our eco hacks to make changes, and an introduction to the ‘Green family’, who will take up the challenge to reduce their own carbon footprint.
Scottish Sun editor, Gill Smith, said: “As the front page of The Earth’s launch issue says, we don’t have a ‘planet b’. The Earth is all about explaining to our readers in a practical and entertaining way how they can help make a difference to the big issues being discussed at COP26 in Glasgow.”
