Media release: Forestry Journal produces the APF 2020 catalogue and shines a positive light on #TheAPFThatNeverWas…

LIKE many events this year, the forestry, woodland, arboriculture, fencing and biomass show, The APF Exhibition, was unfortunately cancelled, due to Covid-19.

As official media partner for the event, Forestry Journal have worked to fill the gap left by the APF event’s absence and have produced a special #APFthatneverwas showcase.

This 100-page bumper catalogue will be distributed to all registered visitors who attended the APF 2018 and to 2020 ticket holders, providing a comprehensive account of all the trade that would have been exhibiting, the goods and services they are currently promoting and the best way to get in touch with them.

Furthermore, the special catalogue will be circulated to all the print and digital subscribers of the Newsquest title, with their October edition, ensuring the showcase covers an extensive reach to a UK wide audience as well as further afield to Europe, effectively bringing many aspects of the cancelled event to its reader whilst providing invaluable up-to-date reference from those who usually exhibit at the show.

Forestry Journal managing editor, John McNee, commented: “Recognising the importance of the event to people across all parts of the UK forestry sector, we felt it was vital to produce an unique publication that would bring the APF to you and whet the appetites for APF 2021.”

Exhibition secretary, Ian Millward, commented: “We know that many people were disappointed by the postponement of APF 2020 and appreciate how important the show is to our exhibitors who relied on it for sales.

“However, we hope the APF 2020 catalogue will go some way in helping to put customers in touch with exhibitors and prove to be a very useful trade directory. I would like to thank everyone at Forestry Journal and Newsquest for all their hard work in producing this and hope you find it a useful and interesting read.”

APF aim to roll forward the show to 23rd-25th September 2021 at the same venue at Ragley Estate, but until then, you can experience #TheAPFThatNeverWas with the APF 2020 catalogue.
