“In an era of ‘fake news’ it is vital that our readers know where their news comes from – we are using state-of-the-art tools to enable our reporters to create and curate trusted news and features. A further key service on the new site is the ‘live’ view, which allows up to the minute access to the latest STV News stories in chronological order without being subject to external algorithms.
“This investment will ensure our services best meet the needs of our audiences by providing relevant, accessible and engaging news and features across all platforms.”
The new website is available via www.stv.tv/news and STV News apps are available on iOS and Android.
The new website and apps were developed in partnership with Bright Signals.
