HOLISTIC Scotland Magazine has appointed Karen Gider – founder of Face Yoga Scotland – as beauty editor.
The title, which is Scotland’s free natural health and wellbeing magazine, has enlisted Karen, who is also a professional beauty therapist, as well as a Dien Chan Zone Operator with the International Academy of Italian Facial Reflexology, and mature model, to develop content for its ‘clean beauty’ pages, which cover natural beauty and products free from SLS, parabens, palm oil and various other toxins.
Publisher-editor, Lynda Hamilton Parker, said: “Having gotten to know Karen and her work, she is absolutely the right choice for Holistic Scotland Magazine.
“Karen embraces everything we stand for, such as natural beauty and the use of ethical products.
“We are also enthralled by her Face Yoga programme and look forward to helping Karen, in turn, to develop her brand.”
Holistic Scotland Magazine launched in May 2018 and has since gone from strength to strength, with its current readership sitting at circa 30,000 and set to rise in the coming months.
Karen’s new role is the magazine’s first official appointment since inception.
New beauty editor Karen Gider (pictured), said: “I’m delighted to accept the position of beauty editor and feel privileged to be able to share my knowledge.
“I’m looking forward to helping spread the word about natural skincare and related techniques to embrace beauty from the inside out.
“Our world is changing and people are looking for organic skincare and non-invasive techniques to help them regain youthful looks. I can’t wait to share my expertise and help guide Holistic Scotland Magazine readers in making the right, natural choices.”
PR professionals and freelance journalists are urged to direct any beauty or haircare-related pitches to karen@holisticscot.com
