BELLA Caledonia, Scotland’s long-running alternative media site, has just re-launched with a brand new website designed and built by Leith-based Starbit.
The new design has improved navigation and faster loading times and better social media integration.
The re-design presented the challenge of transferring over a decades-worth of content.
Editor, Mike Small, said: “We’re delighted with the re-launch and have been beta-testing all week and tweaking things after user feedback. It’s been several month’s work behind the scenes and we’re very pleased with the new look. It’s important to refresh things after a while and there were problems with the way the old site evolved that we were able to resolve.
“We have big plans for the coming months and now we have the platform we need to go forward.”
