Media release: Aberdeen aesthetics clinics collaborate to offer regulated treatments to North-east patients

Sam Robson & Ken Park

TWO Aberdeen clinics are forming an alliance to offer joint professional medical and aesthetic services to patients across the North-east.

The arrangement between aesthetic clinic, Temple Medical, and The Aberdeen Clinic, which offers surgical cosmetic procedures, is understood to be the first collaboration of its kind in the city.

The move will give patients access to a wider range of private treatments delivered by qualified medical professionals. Both Temple Medical, owned and managed by GP, Dr Sam Robson, and The Aberdeen Clinic, founded by surgeon Ken Park, operate in line with the Government’s Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) regulations.

Dr Robson and Mr Park have a combined 50-plus years of patient experience, and they are supported by a team of 12 professionals, which includes doctors, surgeons, nurses and therapists providing private medical services and cosmetic procedures.

Temple Medical, an award-winning clinic in the city’s Bon Accord Square, specialises in non-surgical treatments, including weight loss, body contouring and anti-ageing, while The Aberdeen Clinic, based in Cults, offers surgical services, including plastic surgery, varicose vein treatments, minor surgical procedures and private GP appointments. Together, the clinics will offer a full suite of increasingly popular treatments.

Dr Robson, who has been practising medical aesthetics since 2004, specialises in treating patients with dermal fillers, wrinkle relaxing injections and bio-identical hormone therapy, said: “Partnering with The Aberdeen Clinic will bring fantastic benefits to our patients as they will have access to a wider range of services and expert medical professionals.

“Aesthetic treatments, whether surgical or non-invasive, should always be carried out by trained and experienced medical personnel to ensure safe results.

“Ken and his team are experts in their field and both clinics abide by stringent regulations to offer safe and regulated treatments to our patients.

“The alliance gives me the opportunity to refer my patients who may need surgical services in the safe knowledge that they will undergo a full medical consultation prior to treatment and will be cared for by qualified, registered professionals.”

Mr Park added: “Temple Medical and The Aberdeen Clinic both operate with high standards of customer care; therefore, the collaboration is a superb opportunity for both businesses to complete the suite of patient treatments.

“Our services complement each other perfectly and not only can we both be confident in our referrals but, as medical professionals, we can offer patients real peace of mind that their health and wellbeing is at the forefront of any treatment.

“You cannot put a price on your health so it is crucial that patients can put their trust in medical professionals for both cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.”

The Aberdeen Clinic is hosting an information evening in conjunction with Temple Medical on Thursday 23rd November at The Marcliffe Hotel & Spa, Aberdeen.
