GLASGOW-based chartered financial planners and wealth managers, Gilliland Neilson Brown, has appointed Steven Mason as a director.
Steven, who joined the firm in 2014, is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Financial Planner.
He provides a bespoke service for clients covering pensions, long-term care, investment planning and cash flow modelling.
Commenting, MD, Ailsa Brown, says: “Steven is a real asset to our team. He has worked in personal finance for over nine years and holds the highest personal finance professional qualifications available.
“Steven has an interesting background, starting out in engineering, moving on to academia where he gained a PhD in mechanical engineering. Many of his entrepreneurial and mathematical skills were easily transferable to financial services, so he brings a fresh approach to the team.”
Gilliland Neilson Brown manage £60m of fund for clients, with individual portfolios starting from £150,000.
