I occasionally model for a bridal shop in Montrose, but I’ve never done modelling professionally. This time I have reached the final 15, which is a great achievement.

“My manager at Falck, Alison Barker, was the only person who knew about me applying, and she was ‘over the moon’ about me making it to the finals.”

Colin Leyden, managing director of Falck Safety Services UK, said: “Falck positively encourages and supports staff to get involved in different types of activities outside of work, and we are extremely proud of Susan for reaching the finals of the event.

“We wish her all the best when she flies the flag for the North-east in the final stage of the competition.”
