THE latest awards at the Celtic Media Festival – taking place on the Isle of Man – have seen two awards going to Scotland – including BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, in the radio sports category.
The station took the prize for Spòrs na Seachdain.
Also winning a festival Torc was Braw Films, makers of Hula, and winner of the short drama category.
This is day two of the festival and its awards.
The awards celebrate the very best of film, television, radio and interactive media to emerge within the Celtic nations and regions in the past year.
Festival director, Katriona Logan, said: “The Torc Awards are always a great highlight of the festival and today’s winners, across history, comedy, sport, drama and factual entertainment are a strong demonstration of the quality and diversity across the Celtic production sectors in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Galicia. Huge congratulations to today’s winners and nominees.”
