A LEADING Aberdeen communications company has acquired two north-east printing businesses, in a six-figure deal, as it also finalises a rebrand.
Jasmine Limited is the new brand for the recently-merged company which brought together print management company Printagraph, integrated communications agency Citrus:Mix, document solutions provider Revolve Systems, and event management company 46 Degrees.
The company has completed a six-figure purchase of Scottaspress in Aberdeen and P. Scrogie in Peterhead – collectively known as The Printer.
A total of ten Scottaspress employees along with some production equipment have moved from Maberly Street in the city centre to Jasmine Limited’s factory next to the company’s New Jasmine House office building on Greenbank Place.
There has been no change to the P. Scrogie office in Peterhead.
With a total of 42 employees, Jasmine Limited will offer an unique service in Scotland which covers every stage of corporate communications – from concept creation to campaign implementation.
The company’s complementary communications solutions range from: creative marketing, public relations, emergency media response, social media and digital services, print production, event management and document solutions.
Danny Cowie, managing director of Jasmine Holdings, which owns Jasmine Group, said: “We’re pleased to have completed the acquisition of Scottaspress and P. Scrogie which helps to secure our position as a leading communications company and print services provider in the north-east of Scotland.
“We’re also very happy to welcome employees and customers from both businesses who join us as we announce our new branding as Jasmine Limited which we hope will become a trusted and respected name for communications services across the country.
“We are the only company in Scotland which offers a full communications service which we hope will help us stand out from the crowd. We are committed to the north-east and have plans to grow the business in the area while also looking to develop further afield to give the company a positive future.”
Andrew Hall, managing director of Jasmine Limited, added: “We’ve had a busy few months finalising the purchase of Scottaspress and P. Scrogie which now puts us on a firm footing for the future and is a positive move for our customers too.
“We are very proud of our new Jasmine Limited brand and the significant skills and experience we have across a range of communications services. Our ability to offer new and innovative products and services is essential for us to enable clients to deliver what they need, when they need it.
“Our office building New Jasmine House gives us a great platform to showcase what we can do for existing customers and new clients, and means we have room for growth as the company looks to take positive steps in the months and years to come.”
The company recently invested around £300,000 in the purchase and refurbishment of New Jasmine House on Greenbank Place in East Tullos.
