AN Elgin charity is hosting its annual Spring Ball to raise funds for blind and deaf people in Moray.
The North East Sensory Services (NESS) third annual Spring Ball is taking place on Saturday 18 March at the Cullen Bay Hotel to raise vital funds to support the work of the charity in the North-east.
NESS is a leading provider of sensory services for blind and deaf people in Scotland and has resource centres in Elgin, Aberdeen and Dundee. The charity offers practical support and advice to those affected by a sensory impairment, as well as social clubs and groups for all ages, including young people and elderly service users.
Guests at the Spring Ball will be treated to a glass of prosecco on arrival, a three-course dinner, and live entertainment from musical duo, BedHead. The event is the primary fundraiser for the Moray division of the charity and will enable NESS Moray to continue to offer life-enhancing support to people living with sight or hearing loss.
Bruce Cruickshank, fundraising assistant at NESS Moray, said: “The Spring Ball always goes down well with guests and is a fun evening for everyone in attendance. The funds raised from our events help to improve the lives of those with a sensory impairment.
“The ball is the primary fundraising event in our calendar and we rely heavily on the generosity of the general public and local businesses, so we’re always extremely grateful for the support we receive.”
Tickets for the ball are priced at £35 per person, or £300 for a table of ten, and can be bought from the Cullen Bay Hotel or by calling 0345 271 2345.
