CORE-Asset Consulting, the financial sector recruitment specialist, is pleased to announce it has chosen the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) as its charity partner.
SAMH is Scotland’s largest mental health charity. It aims to reduce stigma attached to mental ill health and provide invaluable support to those in need.
Every year, SAMH provides over a million hours of support to people living with poor mental health.
As part of the corporate partnership, Core-Asset will work with SAMH to:
- Promote the mental health and wellbeing of its employees and candidates
- Raise money for SAMH through charity events and initiatives
- Promote the work of SAMH through Core-Asset’s client and candidate network
Jo Anderson, SAMH director of External Affairs, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as Core-Asset Consulting’s charity partner.
“While stress and anxiety sometimes has its roots outside of work, it is the most common cause of work related illness. Core-Asset Consulting’s approach shows they are committed to the mental health and wellbeing of their employees and candidates.
“We also want to thank Core-Asset Consulting for their plans to raise money to support the work of SAMH through their upcoming charity events.”

Stress, anxiety and depression are all too common in today’s workplace and more needs to be done to support sufferers.
