VETERAN journalist, Bill Heaney, is launching his second book in three months.
‘All Our Yesterdays: A look back at life in the Lennox’ is being launched tomorrow – Thursday, November 17, at 7pm – at Dumbuck House Hotel in Dumbarton.
It costs £15 and has 534 pages and more than 200 pictures.
The book is a social history about Dunbartonshire, where Heaney was editor of the local newspaper, the Lennox Herald, for many years. He has been a journalist for 56 years.
He later became a special adviser to the First Minister at Holyrood and worked in Westminster.
Nowadays, as well as writing and taking photographs, he is still a columnist with the paper he used to edit.
All Our Yesterdays is Heaney’s second book in just three months. How Are Things in Connemara? was written for the Irish market and is currently on sale there for £12.99 or 15 Euro.
Heaney has appeared on the arts shows of both Galway FM and Connemara FM and in the Connacht Tribune and Irish Voice promoting his book there.
Both books are available on line from neetahbooks.com.
