SCOTTISH Rural Action (SRA) has appointed David Sinclair, a former assistant editor of The Herald, as its communications officer.
Until March of this year, he was head of communications for national charity, Victim Support Scotland, and is a board member of social enterprise, Thriving Survivors.
Priorities for Sinclair are the launch – later this month – of SRA’s new manifesto and the establishment of its principal two-yearly forum the Scottish Rural Parliament, which will be held in Brechin in October.
Sinclair said he was delighted with the appointment and to be working with a key partner in identifying and advancing the cause of the main concerns of rural communities.
