SCOTS media individuals and organisations with success stories to share – about their business milestones, commissions, staff appointments, etc – are being invited to share in a re-energising of the media website, allmediascotland.com.
The invite is being aimed at, among others, newspaper groups, independent TV production companies, advertising agencies, radio stations, website operators, college and university media studies departments, recruitment agencies specialising in media vacancies and PR firms.
It concerns the long-established facility on the site, to upload one’s media releases.
With over 16,000 followers on Twitter, over 3,000 recipients of a daily eNewsletter and over 12 years of being found on Google, allmediascotland.com is a well-kent part of the Scottish media scene.
It has not been ‘doing’ media news for some time. And the revamp seeks to generate a sense of community among Scots media organisations, and have their achievements recognised, in their own words.
Soon, a new website is to be launched, home to media releases from media and non-media organisations alike, such as food, motors, theatre, sport and music. The launch of newsdipper.com will then allow allmediascotland.com to become home to media releases that are only about the media.
The facility to upload media releases on to allmediascotland.com comes with functionality that allows sharing via our own media mailing list (including local newspapers, websites and national broadcasters), plus training to reflect on one’s own practice.
