HAND Up Events are organising two events on Castle Street, Edinburgh, in 2016; the Castle Street Summer Fair starts today from 6 – 12 June and Fair & Ethical Trade on the Fringe 7 – 13 August this summer.
Event organiser and owner of Hand Up Events, Tania Pramschufer said: “This summer, we are really delighted to produce and promote two exciting fairs on Castle Street and look forward to a lively and social atmosphere.
“There some great eating and shopping experiences* nearby so we encourage our visitors to make the most of the fair and the shops, cafés, restaurants and businesses on Castle Street itself.
“It is simply the best possible location for our cultural consumer shopping events that we have been running here since 2007 – right in the heart of the city.
“We are excited to have gifts from the ‘Blue Llama’ woman’s cooperative in Peru, as well as hand-crafted gifts from India showcased alongside our many local Scottish businesses.
“At our August Fair & Ethical Trade on the Fringe – we will be meeting up again with many of our great friends who come to exhibit from across the world including Kenya, Zambia and Chile.”
Tania added: “There are not many fairs that can boast having a castle at the end of the street and is a great vantage point for a selfie. Our Twitter handle is @handupevents and we hope you can join us on Twitter and at the fair this week.”
