AN Aberdeen hair and beauty salon is celebrating after being awarded a prestigious business accolade by the Aberdeen Business Awards 2016.
Linton & Mac, which is based in Aberdeen’s Netherkirkgate, was presented with the Best Aberdeen Business award at the ceremony held in the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel on Sunday (29 May).
The accolade was presented to Linton & Mac in recognition of the salon’s business success, with the team now set to head to Edinburgh this August to compete in the inaugural national final of the Scottish Business Awards 2016.
Regional winners from Aberdeen, Angus, Fife, Edinburgh and Glasgow will come together at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa for the evening to find out who will be crowned the Scottish champions.
Since launching in September 2015, the salon has been making waves in the hair and beauty industry, and recently won the One To Watch award at The Look Awards, became regional winners of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy, and have been shortlisted for Most Promising New Business for the Elevator Awards and Best New Business and Excellence in Hairdressing for Trend’s Life of Style Awards.

“Our team has doubled in size to help us keep up with the demand from our clients and we’ve also had top industry experts visit our salon to host training seminars and workshops, enabling us to create a buzz within the Aberdeen hair industry.
