TISSUE Solutions, a global provider of human biomaterials for research, are proud to be one of the first companies in the UK to achieve certification to the 2015 version of the ISO 9001 Management standard.
Tissue Solutions was independently assessed in January 2016, and achieved certification with no major non-conformances.
The Glasgow-based company was awarded its certification by Maureen Sumner-Smith, BSI’s UK managing director, at a special presentation event held at the BSI’s headquarters in Milton Keynes.
Dr Fiona Mackenzie, client services director, commented: “We are delighted to have achieved our goal in such a short timeframe.
“All companies certified to ISO 9001:2008 have three years to transition to the new standard but when we looked at the new standard we realised that it reflected the way we already did business, so it made sense for us to be an early adopter.
“We are pleased to tell our customers that Tissue Solutions continues to lead in compliance and this again demonstrates our commitment to putting excellence at the heart of our business.”
