ISG has been awarded two £multi-million contracts at the prestigious Trump Turnberry resort, located on the stunning Ayrshire coast and famously owned by one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, Donald Trump.
The schemes see ISG comprehensively refurbish, remodel and upgrade all 103 bedrooms and public spaces within the hotel building, and construct a new, 500-person capacity grand ballroom at the world-renowned golfing and leisure venue.
Delivering the owner’s vision to create the most luxurious hotel anywhere in the UK, ISG will create opulent and high-specification guest accommodation, with large marble bathrooms a key feature of every room.
External enhancements at the hotel include the replacement of all windows with new high-performance glazed units, repairs to the roof and dormers and renewal of render to all elevations at the 109 year-old building.
The new 6,000 sq ft grand ballroom will provide additional capacity to the venue’s existing facilities and has been sympathetically designed to blend seamlessly with the original architecture of the hotel building.
These latest wins at Trump Turnberry further reinforce ISG’s reputation within the luxury hotel sector, as the contractor already counts a number of Scotland’s best known and most prestigious venues among its customer base, including the iconic Old Course Hotel and Hamilton Grand development in St Andrews, as well as at the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel and the luxurious Cameron House Hotel in Loch Lomond.
